Welcome
Blashenwell Wines represents a wide range of small producers, most of which are family owned and run. We vigorously taste their wines, and only select the best that we know will work in the UK marketplace. These wineries are all exclusively represented by us and are available in the UK for the first time.
Our focus is on the Old World with strong emphasis on France, Italy and Greece. Together with independent Head Sommelier & Buyer, Jean-Louis Naveilhan, we will continue to grow our collection and portfolio, and also look further afield to bring you quality wines.
Trade
We work with all hospitality sectors including restaurants, gastropubs, bars, hotels and private clubs. We work closely with our commercial clients, identifying gaps and missing links in their offerings, to carefully curate their wine lists.
We build close and long term relationships with key staff, and assist with all wine related queries. Bespoke wine education and staff training is also part of our remit.

For our private clients, Blashenwell Wines is your “go to” supplier when it comes to superb, delectable everyday drinking wines. We ceaselessly strive to find the best and most interesting wines, while ensuring they remain affordable.

About Us
Blashenwell Wines was founded in 2021 by a wine professional with over three decades experience sourcing and trading specialist wines from around the world. Our commercial and private clients enjoy the timely and regular replenishment of their wine stock.
Although the emphasis is on everyday drinking wines, we also provide a bespoke service to help create the ideal cellar for your maturing, investment grade wines. We’re on an unquenchable search for only the best.

Founder
A third-generation Danish wine aficionado with a Pan-European upbringing, both my grandfather and father had extensive wine cellars, and that love and curiosity of wines was passed onto me. Years later, great many trips to various wineries the world over has sharpened my palate.
A fierce passion has developed over the years that wine shouldn’t be expensive or exclusive to be enjoyed by one and all. An innate sense of how to navigate a wine list, I’ve always revelled in the challenge of being able to choose the finest yet reasonable wines from any list. This motivated me to establish Blashenwell Wines.
Jean-Louis Naveilhan
Head Sommelier/Buyer & Logistics
As a wine consultant with over 20 years’ experience in wine buying in London, I have been running my own company supplying independent restaurants, retailers and private clients my selections of crafted wines, sakes and spirits. It is an exciting and extended portfolio, any collection or wine list is tailor made to each client.
A French native, I have earned my Sommelier diploma from world-renowned Tain l’Hermitage and certified by the International Court of Sommeliers as well as one of a handful of holders of the Sake Educator certificate.
